What Is Your Personal Life Purpose?
Do You Know?

February 26th, 2010

What Does It Require To Find Your Personal Life Purpose?

Personal Life Purpose

Does it require you to scratch your way through all of the layers of pre-conditioning you have acquired through many years to see what is going on inside of you? Well let’s see!

Many people live their lives just making do, never finding that passion. With this comes a constant sense of dissatisfaction or discontent. You always feel as if you are missing out on something, that life is drifting past without having achieved anything.

That feeling stems from inside of you where your inner self keeps on saying that what you are doing is not what your personal life purpose is. Many people never find it and spend their life with that niggling feeling that they are missing something.

Most often people who have this sense of missing something spend their time trying to fill that void with other things. You have probably experienced this yourself. You spend your money on buying new clothes, cars or homes in the hope that it will make you feel good.

It does feel good to drive that new car or move into a lovely home, but the happy feeling is always short lived. It never lasts because it doesn’t address the underlying feelings of unease that you have.

You might find yourself drifting from one relationship to another, hoping to discover in the new partnership a feeling of completeness that you know is out there somewhere but that you are just not able to find.

If all those lovely new things don’t make you happy for long and your relationships are not fulfilling you perhaps it’s time to start thinking about what your personal life purpose is. Finding that and aligning yourself to this purpose could be what you have been looking for for so long.

The search for your personal life purpose has puzzled people for thousands of years. That’s because we typically begin at the wrong starting point – ourselves. We ask self-centered questions like;

  • What do I want to be?
  • What should I do with my life?
  • What are my goals, my ambitions, my dreams for my future?

But focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life’s purpose.

“It is God who directs the lives of his creatures; everyone’s life is in his power.”

Contrary to what many popular books, movies, and seminars tell you, you won’t discover your life’s meaning by looking within yourself. How do I know that? Because I have tried this. I have read numerous new age books, watched The Secret, tried meditation, and read angel cards. I did everything in my human power to discover my personal life purpose till I discovered the truth.

“You didn’t create yourself, so there is no way you can tell yourself what you were created for!”

Made By GodYou were made by God and for God – and until you understand that, life will never make any sense. It is only in God that we discover our origin, our idetity, our meaning, our purpose, our significance, and our destiny. Every other path leads to a dead end.

Your personal life purpose is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It’s far greater than your family, your career, or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God.

It seems that people are waking up to the fact that they are not following their life purpose and in fact have no idea what that could be. Many people end up thinking that the problem is that they are not good enough, that they need to improve themselves.

They think that if they work hard enough on the self-improvement angle then they will feel better about themselves and the lives they lead. Is that the answer? Surely not.

The self-improvement work is just another misleading direction to take. Finding the life purpose and following it is a better way of finding that inner happiness and contentment.

Many self-help books encourage you to work out what your personal life purpose is. I have read many self-help books even Christian ones, that suggest ways to discover my personal life purpose.

Self-help books approach the subject from a self-centered viewpoint. They usually offer the same predictable steps to finding your life’s purpose:

  • Consider your dreams
  • Clarify your values.
  • Set some goals.
  • Figure out what you are good at.
  • Aim high.
  • Go for it!
  • Be disciplines.
  • Believe you can achieve your goals.
  • Involve others.
  • Never give up.

Of course, these recommendations often lead to great success. You can usually succeed in reaching a goal if you put your mind to it. But being successful and fulfilling your personal life’s purpose are not at all the same issue!

You could reach all your personal goals, become a raving success by the world’s standard, and still miss the purposes for which God created you.

“The greatest tragedy is not death, but life without purpose.”

Knowing your personal life purpose gives meaning to your life, it simplifies your life, it focuses your life, it motivates your life, and it prepares you for eternity.

“Living on purpose is the path to peace.”

Here is a video by Rick Warren on a life of purpose.

What’s in your hand?

What do you have that you’ve been given?

Talent, background, education, freedom, networks, opportunities, wealth, ideas, creativity. What are you doing with what you have been given? That’s to me is the primary question about life. That’s to me is what being purpose driven is all about.

God Smiles

God Smiles

God smiles when you be you. Why? Because he made you. When you do what you were made to do he says that’s my boy or that’s my girl.

What was the beginning of finding my personal life purpose was by reading, “The Purpose Driven Life.” My life has never been the same since. I have finally found my personal life purpose and it is my hope, dream and desire that you find yours.

If you are having trouble finding your personal life purpose and would like to speak to me in person Email me and I would be glad to help you in any way I can.

God Bless!
Monique

How To Make Money As An Internet Marketer By Marketing Other People’s Products

internet-marketing-for-making-money-online
Internet marketing is the process of making money by marketing products or services via the internet.

There are various ways to start and grow a successful business online. One of these is to sell somebody else’s product.

This business plan is referred to as affiliate marketing. In recent times this seems to have changed into a new name which is performance marketing. And no, that has nothing to do with being on stage.

The name performance marketing relates to the fact that you only get paid if you have made a sale or performed. All your marketing attempts to sell somebody else’s product will only provide a return when successful.

The successful businesses that offer internet affiliate programs are the ones that assist their affiliate partners with a lot of sales material when possible. This includes copy for sales pages, suggested keywords and copy for email campaigns amongst many.

Some of the above terminology will be foreign to you, but is all part of the strange terrain new internet marketers will require to get used to. What you might know from selling a product with an ad in the newspapers, is now not as useful. A whole dictionary of new terms will need to be learnt.

As much as the internet is making quite a large noise about the affiliate business model, it has been around for a very long time. Just as a kind of example think of supermarkets. The bulk of the products a supermarket sells is being sold on behalf of other manufacturers.

The supermarkets make a mark-up or commission on the sale of each product and seldom make their own products. Just as online affiliates they only get paid when they make a sale. Even the in-house butchers are often run by external experts. They might cut up and re-package the meat but they don’t have a pig farm in the parking lot behind the building.

In the same way, you as an affiliate would make a commission on each product you sell on behalf of somebody else. There are numerous different products that are sold online. For the new internet marketer who joins the online community the eBook is often the first choice.

Besides eBooks there are a myriad of products that you can sell on behalf of individuals or companies. From advice and training to selling software, games, toys, gadgets the market is endless. Solely the range of products available to make the internet marketer’s life easier is huge.

It is not just technology products that are huge sellers. The diet market with diet and exercise programs, diet supplements and instant thin pills is a multi billion dollar business. For just about every interest and hobby there are internet affiliate programs available.

The choice is truly mind blowing. For most new internet marketers having such a huge choice is actually a disadvantage. You can waste a lot of time and effort making up one’s mind on a product or product range and then end up changing to another because you might make money, never allowing ones internet marketing strategies to take proper root.

As with all marketing activities, online marketing requires skills, patience and perseverance. Effort and hard work will pay off.

Who Is Going To Save Our Children?

Save Our Children From Obesity!

obesity among children

Take a look at the children and young teenagers around your area. Anything look different? Take a closer look at a large group of children playing in a local school yard or in a nearby playground. More and more children and young adults are getting heavier. In fact, obesity among children has tripled over the past three decades.

Approximately 25 percent (or one in four children) are considered overweight according to the most recent National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.

Parents what are we doing to our children?

As a mother of 4 children, step mother of 2 children and grandmother of 5 precious grandchildren I am definitely concerned with the health of my children and grandchildren.

Do you remember your concern about what you ate during pregnancy, whether or not to nurse your infant; which pacifier might be most orthodontically correct while keeping the baby content; when to introduce organic cereals, and baby foods?

Now I see children less than two years of age sitting in front of the TV eating macaroni and cheese, a hot dog and red artificial juice.

I don’t know about you but as a grandmother this is simply unacceptable. We are killing our kids with a painful slow death.

Parents it’s time to wake up and become proactive on behalf of your kids! We all need to make a change whether we like it or not!

If not this is what your child’s future holds;

* Problems with insulin resistance
* High blood pressure
* Dyslipidemia (abnormal fats)
* Premature heart disease
* Diabetes

We can start being proactive by cleaning out our pantry.

Cleaning Your Pantry Of Harm

There are some things we do for our family just because we know it’s the right thing to do. They may not appreciate it; they may even resent us for it. Sometimes they fight us tooth and nail, and the battle hardly seems worth engaging. One of those right things is trying to assure that our family eats a healthy diet. What a challenge that is in today’s culture.

Today we’re going to take a giant leap forward toward our goal of bringing our family food – real food – and not harm. We’re going to clean out the pantry. It’s not difficult with this 3 step process:

  1. If it’s been sitting in there for more than a year and it’s unlikely you’ll use it in the next year, throw it out. I don’t care if it has a shelf life of eternity. Throw it out.
  2. Now check labels for expiration dates. If it’s expired, throw it out, unless you have a compelling reason to keep it.
  3. While checking labels, if it has a list of ingredients you can’t pronounce, then it’s not really food at all. It’s a bundle of man-made chemicals with tremendous potential to bring harm to your family; it’s not good. Throw it out. this is where you need to be battle-hardened, because your children may be very unhappy indeed when you throw out their favorite nonfood food. But your arms are strong for the task, so never feat.

Here is a ABC News Special on Obesity in Children

The single best investment you can make is in your health. I was held hostage to a doctor’s prognosis of never being able to live a healthy life after falling 18 ft till I discovered this wonderful company that taught me all about nutrition, healthy weight, beautiful skin and healthy energy.
