Commit To Your Business! Don’t Envy Millionaires Be One!

On my last blog post I shared with you Sam Walton’s 10 Rules for Building a Successful Business. Today we are going to look at;

Rule #1: Commit To Your Business

Which means believing in your business more than anybody else. More than your mother, your business partner, your mentor or your team.

If there is anything that I have learned over the last several years is that the most successful word in entrepreneurship is “commitment.”

Without commitment you have nothing but hope, and that’s not going to get you anywhere without some serious action.

  • Commit to your business and what it stands for.
  • Commit to your goals of financial freedom.

Commitment and perseverance will help you achieve your goals in business.

“If you love your work, you’ll be out there every day trying to do it the best you possibly can, and pretty soon everybody around will catch the passion from you – like a fever.”

Besides committing to your business you need to;

  • Commit to your customers.

“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care”

Once you have chosen to follow that BIG word, “Commitment,” everything else is just a speed bump here and there and if you don’t give up, you can’t fail.

“I had to pick myself up and get on with it, do it all over again, only even better this time”.

If you truly want to succeed there is only one person, YOU, who can create that success for you. One of the founding principles of any success program is that we are each responsible for our own actions, achievements and outcomes. This means everything in your life is a result of what you do or don’t do.

However in order to make changes in your life you have to give up ALL your excuses, ALL your victim stories, ALL your complaints and stop buying into ALL your reasons for not being where you want to be.

Take the position that you can change your life. That is not to say that there will not be obstacles to face, however you can choose how you handle those obstacles – with determination, with creativity, with persistence and with belief that you will find a way around it.

“Ninety nine percent of all failures come from people who have a habit of making excuses”

  • Commit to personal development.

Your business growth will be a direct reflection of your personal growth. Learn from leaders such as Jim Rohn Lessons On Life, Harv Ecker Millionaire Mind Tele-class, Dani Johnson, or Brian Tracy

  • Commit to marketing.

My personal favorite book on marketing is Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard. This is hands down the best book on marketing I have bought and used. Mike explains that you need to brand yourself by creating a You, Inc. to market, that you need to sell yourself not your company.

Now if you are looking for a high performance marketing system that teaches you with top leaders in the industry how to generate your own leads daily, I highly recommend MLM Lead System Pro. I have been using this system for the past 6 months and I am extremely pleased with this program.

The other really cool incentive with this program is that there is over 16 different affiliate programs that helps you to generate income to pay for your marketing needs while you are learning.

  • Commit to your leaders.

Let them know you are committed to their success. Be real, be authentic and be passionate. Learn as much about them as possible. Find out about their family, their concerns, their strengths and weaknesses, their goals, their wants and their commitment.

Make a commitment today to yourself and to your team. And never, ever quit!
