Just because you don’t understand why ….. doesn’t mean its wrong. Now let’s dive into that first question.




Why Was Network Marketing Created?

It was created for the soul purpose of being able to distribute products or services directly to the consumer, which in turn made the products or services much more affordable and its availability to the consumer easier to accomplish.


Now let’s address the second question!


What Is Its Purpose?


It has two purposes!


1. By avoiding or skipping past all the middle men the companies of the products or services are able to sell their products or services at reduced costs or otherwise known as wholesale prices.


When you produce a product or service then you place it out on the market.  When you do this the conventional way it needs to go through a number of middlemen, and each middleman gets a cut.  So when this is done it inevitably raises the price of the product or service.


Let me give you an example with the Network Marketing company that I belong to.


Usana Network Marketing


Usana was born out of a need because of the founders parents both died premature from degenerative diseases.  So when Dr Myron Wentz was a young lad he promised his mother on her death bed who was dying of cancer that he would find a cure.


What Dr Wentz discovered through all his research and development that it was nearly impossible to find a cure for all diseases that we needed to prevent disease first. That is when Dr. Wentz and his team founded Usana (which means True Health) and began creating Nutritional Supplements that would combat the free radicals in our bodies and begin to repair the damaged cells in our bodies.


But now that Usana had a product they had to find a vehicle so to say to market their products to the consumer.  Dr Wentz looked at multiple ways to distribute his products the conventional way however it made the products way to expensive and he wanted everyone to be able to benefit from his discoveries of true health.


So after careful considerations and research Dr Wentz decided to market his products via Network Marketing.  But because network marketing at the time did not have a good reputation he vowed to make his compensation plan the ultimate so it would benefit everyone financially who helped him to market his products to consumers who would not only benefit them with true health but would benefit them financially to live well.  Let’s face it, it costs more to live and eat healthy then it does to be a couch potato and eat junk.


2. Marketing – The reason it is called Network Marketing is because you network with other people about the products, then you market them.  The problem with Network Marketing is people know how to network but they don’t know how to market.  That is why there is such a high failure rate with theses businesses.


People need to learn how to market and advertise their business but most of all treat it like a business not some hobby or something they do in their spare time when they feel like doing it.


This is a profession like any other profession and you need to dedicate 2-5 yrs to learn the business.  This doesn’t mean you don’t make any money while learning.  That’s the cool thing about this business,
